DESCRIPTION

"ALITALIA 1969" is the artwork of the project

"Made in Italy" which tells of when

our airline

of flag was thrown

in an unprecedented restyling of its aircraft.

It is the year of the introduction of the A

tricolour on the tail rudder.

Green becomes the new color of the uniforms designed by Mila Schön,

Jackie Kennedy's stylist.

The designer equips the hostesses with miniskirts

and black leather boots, combined with

capes and surprising coats

in wool and cyclamen suit.

However, they are the black hats with visors

to embody the best combination of Italian manufacturing tradition

and the new Space Age tension of fashion.

Americans of those years become

the protagonists of this artwork to pay homage once again to the great designer and pioneer of Pop Art,
