DESCRIPTION

On the podium of what best represents the Italian tradition

recognized throughout the world, more than pasta, more than cappuccino, more than espresso coffee, his majesty reigns supreme "the pizza".

And it's together with Emanuele Serpa

and Dario Giorgianni,

managing partners of "Wheat",

(for "50 Top Pizza" the best pizzeria in Sicily, in 25th place among the best in Italy), which we decided, a bit for fun

or maybe even out of "mutual" admiration

of our "arts", to undertake together a journey that tells our territory from our respective points of view.

This is how the artwork is born

"WOW!...Frumento's pizza is AMAZING!"

which is placed in a very respectable position

among other artworks of my already started

project "Made in Italy".

In this artwork of mine the main protagonist is the restaurant business "Frumento" and the comic book characters

60s, re-proposed in the guise of passing tourists, as a tribute to the great Marvel artist John Romita Sr.,

enjoy the flavours of Italian excellence in the enchanting setting of the square

Saint Francis of Assisi in Catania,

where one of the four "Frumento" offices is located, the others are in Acireale and S. Maria la Scala (a hamlet of Acireale) in

province of Catania and Modica in

 province of Ragusa.
