DESCRIPTION AND GENESIS OF THE ARTWORK
"Fantastic Four #81" is a famous splash page from the chronological series
published in the United States in December 1968, masterfully drawn
by the great Jack Kirby. The image tells the story of the arrival and temporary membership of Crystal, the Inhuman who stole the Human Torch's heart, in the legendary family group.
of the Fantastic Four: an absolute icon of the superhero imagination that has
also deeply inspired the great pioneers of world Pop Art.
Mine is a reproduction made in acrylic on canvas, born from a personal desire
to further emphasize the beauty and visual power of the image,
without ever taking anything away from the original and remaining as faithful to it as possible.
An intimate, almost childish gesture, through which I tried to enter the illustrated scene
in a deeper and more sensorial way than I could as a child,
when those magical pages came to life only through the eyes and imagination.
It is a timeless emotion, which I wish to convey to those who seek a refined embellishment.
and niche for a corner of your home, with the hope of lighting up in other corners too
the same amazement. Because these images still possess the power to generate
emotions, to expand and multiply them, creating a lively and participatory sharing:
the tribute that I constantly try to promote through my art and my work.
