DESCRIPTION AND GENESIS OF THE ARTWORK
“The Amazing Spider-Man n.53 page 1” is a splash page that has entered the collective imagination, published in the United States in October 1967 and signed by the master John Romita Sr.
Spider-Man, suspended on his web, observes and reads himself:
a hero who becomes a spectator of his own legend, filtered by the sensationalist voice
of the Daily Bugle. Around him, the vertical breath of the city: skyscrapers, signs,
Surprised faces looking out the windows. Each element contributes to a composition
which will forever mark the visual language of Pop Art.
My work is a reproduction in acrylic on canvas, born from an intimate need:
amplify the iconic strength of the image without betraying it, respecting its soul
and the original balance. Painting this scene was like walking through it,
to return to it with the adult awareness and childish wonder of when,
As a child, those pages were entire worlds.
An emotion that knows no time and that I wish to share with those who
He is looking for a work capable of communicating with the domestic space in a silent but powerful way.
Because some images never stop talking:
they continue to generate emotions, to multiply them, to create a living connection.
This is the tribute I pursue through my art.
